morning, just before I awoke, a very impressive scene was presented before
me. I seemed to awake from sleep, but was not in my home. From the
windows I could behold a terrible conflagration. Great balls of fire were
falling upon houses, and from these balls fiery arrows were flying in
every direction. It was impossible to check the fires that were kindled,
and many places were being destroyed. The terror of the people was
indescribable. After a time I awoke and found myself at home.” Letter

and a great terror is soon to come
upon human beings. The end is very near. We who know the truth should
be preparing for what is soon to break upon the world as an overwhelming

1906 “The Lord calls for His people to locate away from the cities, for
in such an hour as ye think not, fire and brimstone will be rained
from heaven upon these cities. Proportionate to their sins will be
their visitation. When one city is destroyed, let not our people
regard this matter as a light affair and build themselves homes in that
same destroyed city.” Letter 158
[Notice fire and brimstone is falling, meaning this fire is from God, not
meteors or some man-made device. Also, we are not to move into the
destroyed cities, which means time will go on after this destructive
fire. This event is not during the plagues, but is earlier.]

I was at Nashville, I had been speaking to the people, and in the night
season, there was an immense ball of fire that came right from heaven
and settled in Nashville. There were flames going out like arrows from
that ball; houses were being consumed; houses were tottering and falling.
Some of our people [Seventh-day Adventists who read Ellen White’s
writings] were standing there. ‘It is just as we expected,’ they said, ‘we
expected this.’ Others were wringing their hands in agony and crying unto
God for mercy. ‘You knew it,’ said they ‘you knew that
this was coming, and never said a word to warn us!’ They seemed as though
they would almost tear them to pieces, to think they had never told them
or given them any warning at all… A few nights ago I was awakened with
this, ‘They know not the time of their visitation.’ Why don’t they know

“The Lord is soon coming in the clouds of heaven with
power and with great glory. His terrible judgments are soon to fall upon
our world. Are we doing all we can to warn earth’s inhabitants of these
things? While I was in the South a few months ago, I had a very
impressive dream. I seemed to see a great ball of fire come from heaven
and strike the earth. Great houses were in flames, and many were looking
on in great distress. Someone said, ‘I knew that this was coming. I knew
that God’s judgments were soon to fall.’ ‘You knew that these things were
coming?’ said another. ‘Why did you not tell us? Why did you not warn

ball of fire that had come from heaven, and it fell where they were
casting buildings with pillars, especially the pillars were presented to

it?’ I thought there was such an agony in their face, such an agony in

the inhabitants of other cities to be afraid and seek repentance, their

observance of Sunday as the Sabbath will bring about a
national apostasy from
the principles of republicanism upon which the government
has
been founded. The religion of the papacy will be accepted by the
rulers, and
the law of God will
be made void….
To secure popularity and patronage, legislators will yield to the demand
for a
Sunday
law....By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation
of
the
law of God our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. .
. . As the approach of the Roman armies was a sign to the disciples of
the impending
destruction of
Jerusalem, so may this apostasy be a sign to us that the limit of
God's forbearance
is reached.
We must take a firm stand that we will not reverence the first day of
the week as
the Sabbath, for it is not the day that was blessed and sanctified by
Jehovah, and
in
reverencing Sunday we should place ourselves on the side of the great
deceiver....
When the law of God has been made void and apostasy becomes a
national
sin,
the Lord will work in behalf of His people.”

where you will be free from the interference of enemies." Letter 3
1904 [Are enemies Sunday keepers during the Sunday laws that
have a hardened heart?] Every EGW comment after 1885 she says
to leave cities NOW.
"The Protestant world have set up an idol sabbath in the place where God's
Sabbath should be, and they are treading in the footsteps of the Papacy.
For this reason I see the necessity of the people of God moving out of the
cities into retired country [places] where they may cultivate the land and
raise their own produce. Thus they may bring their children up with
simple, healthful habits. I see the necessity of making haste to get
all things ready for the crisis." Letter 90 1897
"There are reasons why we should not build in the cities. On these
cities, God's judgments are soon to fall." Letter 158 1902
“The Lord desires His people to move into the country, where they can
settle on the land, and raise their own fruit and vegetables, and where
their children can be brought in direct contact with the works of God in

truth must be spoken, whether men will hear, or whether men will forbear.
The cities are filled with temptation. We should plan our work in such a
way as to keep our young people as far as possible from this
contamination. “The cities are to be worked from outposts. Said the
messenger of God, ‘Shall not the cities be warned? Yes, not by God’s
people living in them, but by their visiting them, to warn them
of what is coming upon the earth.” Letter 182 1902
1903 "Get out of the cities as soon as possible, and purchase a little
piece of land, where you can have a garden, where your children can watch
the flowers growing, and learn from them the lessons of simplicity and
purity." GC Bulletin March 30
“The question is asked, How shall we reach the people? As Enoch reached
them. He did not live with them in close companionship lest he should
become like them by hearing their godless words and their ambitions
projects. He had his retired place to commune with God, to walk with God.
And when he came to the cities, he had a message to bear. Jude says a few
words: “And Enoch also the seventh from Adam prophesied.” Jude 14-25. From
his retired place, Enoch came to cities, bore his testimony of warning and
reproof, and [then] separated from the wicked to preserve his soul in
righteousness, for he had warnings to give of reproof and messages of

leave the cities now.

Summary Key Points:
Fire and brimstone

in July 2016, it will happen soon after that time. EGW saw pillars,
perhaps the Parthenon which hosts the large statue of the pagan goddess
Athena.

said, “We knew this would happen soon,” again meaning it is coming soon.
SDAs should warn the
cities of the coming judgments.
Could the fire and brimstone be
the “great terror” that will come upon human beings, and then a call for
Sunday laws is heard, as they realize God is angry with mankind.
Will SDAs be blamed
for the fire and brimstone, causing a storm of persecution to be aimed at
us?
SDAs are not to be
living in the cities. EVERY EGW COMMENT after 1885 she said to leave
the cities NOW.
Isa.
26:9 tells us God will teach righteousness during these judgments.

Some tips on buying a home in the
country
We do not need a fancy or expensive home. Jesus is
coming!
We need something inexpensive that we can afford and pay
off, and not have a mortgage. So the cheaper, the better.
I have flipped a dozen homes and have fixed up my own
homes that I lived in. On the market today are manufactured
double-wide homes that are on their own land that can be found where they
need repairs. Here are some examples of what I purchased:
1750 sq. ft. on five acres, a 1990 model for $18,500, with the land.
Yes. I remodeled it inside, built a front porch, and the realtor
said it was worth $89,000. Another home was $25,000 1300 sq. ft. on
half an acre. Another $15,500 1400 sq. ft. on .7 acres, ( I lived in
this one). Another $12,400 for 1700 sq. ft. with land.
Another was $40,800 on 2.7 acres and had 2050 sq. ft., 2005 model.
The bathrooms and kitchen can be replaced with materials from Lowes or
Home Depot, with materials off the shelf. They do installations of
flooring. I often made purchases in large amounts on their credit
cards with 18 months to pay off without interest on special promos.
You can do your own painting. You can install some new light
fixtures. You can add some baseboards if needed. The heat pump
normally needs a tune-up for $150.00. So after doing these changes,
you have a new home inside that is better than new. You normally
have more square feet per dollar spent when buying a double wide than when
buying a stick built home. Make sure the skirting around the home is
tight. If you get a loan, you will need 20% down.
I also bought regular stick built homes at cheaper prices
that needed repairs, such as a $38,000 purchase that sold for $85,000.
To find the deals when making the purchase look online at
realtor.com, zillow.com, and also try to find some of the government homes
that have been foreclosed on at government websites.
Even if you do not want a fixer upper, be careful how much
you spend, and look online at new deals that may appear any day. If
it is a great deal, jump on it like smell on a skunk.
You can have a home inspector quickly look at it and do
not ask for a written report. Just a visual inspection and report to
you on-site. This is also cheaper.
I found out you can make a low, low offer, especially when
the home is bank owned, a foreclosure. Homes that hang around unsold
are the ones the banks are ready to sell for less, and especially if they
are fixer uppers. You can look up land ownership with the county
property assessors office online.
Buy land that has an area for gardening. Check out
hydroponic gardening on YouTube. Get your blueberry bushes out,
fruit trees, etc.
Having a less expensive home paid off in the country is a
great feeling. Experience it!
